This installment features some recent music from artists James Holden, Kayla Scintilla, Far Too Loud, Kino Oko, Ott and more. I delve a little into Chet Singer's Ampere Modular macro set for Native Instruments' Reaktor 5.
The tunes layed down in this installment's mix center around some fine party breakbeats on a psychedelic tip, sure to get you moving.

Yes it's been a long time since the last installment, but I've planned some changes and some other priorities have had to come first.

This installment is the first of hopefully many episodes that will cover a broader scope of electronic music and production. I'll be presenting each episode with my own thoughts and feelings on the music played. There is a new segment where I'll discuss some music technology and gear, will be having guest artists/producers on for a chat and will dedicate the 2nd half of each episode to a mix or live set from either myself or the guest.

This episode features some music from Shpongle, Solar Fields and a 1/2 hour mix from myself including tunes from Nova Nova, Guy J, Solidtraxx, myself and more. I also take a look and demonstrate some of the features of Camel Audio's beastly VSTi Alchemy.

Feel free to leave any thoughts or feedback.

This installment is a fair representation of what I want this podcast to be about, an eclectic and diverse mix of music. I didn't care so much for the transitions here as for the selection of tunes so it may seem a little odd, disjointed and jumpy at times but it's all intentional and I'm actually happy with how this turned out.

Apologies to those who have been following, this episode comes a bit late with a lot of stuff happening for me at the moment. With this 2nd installment, the initial idea I had of using this as a platform to include my own work in a DJ mix context has seemingly gone out the window (lol).
This is much more a current DJ mix mostly sitting in the progressive realms of dance music bar a couple of tracks perhaps. However I haven't abandoned the ideas I initially had with the conception of this podcast, it's just how this happened to turn out at this point in time. Honestly I couldn't find a way to intergrate my music with the other stuff here and time was not on my side here.
So this is purely a snapshot of my current DJ sets from a warming up perspective, tunes I'm diggin at the moment, next to no preparation in structure etc, exactly as you'd get if I were playing out somewhere.

1. Bronto Scorpio - Colours

4. Gianni B - Sunrise

9. Fedor K - Lovely Town
10. Cord, LERIKA - Hen Night (Art Kurnaleev Remix)
11. Koan Koroy, Eray - Rise Of The Darkness (Erdie Irmak Remix)
12. Shabu Vibes - Vapour (Tjarks Remix)
13. Eddie Bitz - Subberman (Lank Remix)
14. Misha Smykk - My Cup Of Tea
15. Stanisha & Amber Tiny - The Magic Cat

This is the first in a monthly series of podcasts I'll be putting together as a platform to showcase my current DJ sets and productions within that context.
Each month's episode will be a 60 to 80 minute mix featuring quality music from a range of electronic genres and sub-genres including house, techno, progressive, electro, experimental, ambient, drum & bass and more. Not only from myself, but from well known to underrated and little known artists and producers from across the globe. I'll be trying to make each episode's mix more than just a bunch of current tunes mixed together, opting for a mix that delivers as a whole, a seamless journey into some well explored as well as some more uncharted sonic dimensions.

Alienation Episode 1 (May 2012)
